Postdoctoral Scholar, LBNL
Jayson is a postdoc in the Applied Nuclear Physics program. He currently works on designing and imaging distributed radiological sources, and characterizing a new neutron- and gamma-sensitive imaging detector. Prior to joining LBL in 2019, he completed his PhD in Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT, where he developed a method for verifying nuclear arms control treaties with nuclear resonance fluorescence (NRF) measurements.
