Graduate Student (UTK)
David is a Graduate Student Research Assistant working jointly with Applied Nuclear Physics and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he is currently pursuing his PhD. His primary project focuses on wide-area sensor networks to map dispersed radioactive contamination. In general, David’s research interests include radiation detection, embedded systems, machine learning and multi-objective optimization among others.David first worked with ANP in the summer of 2017 during his undergraduate studies and has returned several times since to work on a variety of projects.
