Computer Systems Engineer I
Matthew is a Computer Systems Engineer in the Applied Nuclear Physics program. He supports the MINOS and BDC data services by developing new features, managing deployments of the services, and ingesting data into the systems.
Matthew also works with Lab IT’s High Performance Computing Services group, leading development on a web portal and REST API that overhaul how users and projects are managed on UC Berkeley’s Savio supercluster, and, soon, the Lab’s Lawrencium supercluster.
Lastly, Matthew serves as a full-stack engineer on a data collection tool used by the Energy Efficiency Standards group in the Energy Technologies Area.
