Research Scientist
Emil started as a postdoc with the Applied Nuclear Physics program in 2021 and has been working as a Research Scientist since 2024. He’s a drone-racing physicist who develops algorithms and methods to aid in both mobile and stationary radiation detection and imaging systems. He simulates city-scale environments for anomaly detection and robotic behaviour design.
During his PhD he specialized in novel, fast technologies for thermal neutron detection for the European Spallation Source that is currently under construction in Lund, Sweden.
